Not sure what you're calling the security indicator light. When you are near the car with the key fob, the indicator of the car with a key inside it flashes.

Not sure what you're calling the security indicator light. When you are near the car with the key fob, the indicator of the car with a key inside it flashes. The power source for everything on the car would be the battery when the car is not running. Would that little occasional blinking light kill a car battery...maybe in a 100 years.
