Both had clearly visible orange tips and were fully dismantled for transport. I was pulled over and handcuffed for 2 hours because the cops thought they were real and me not having my license on me to carry a firearm.

that's fuckin terrible... :wtf2:

Yup. Lesson learned. Use the secret cubby hole that nobody knows about :rofl2:

Uxi 05-11-2015 11:12 AM

Heh, finally figured out the cubby. Does stuff ever get lost in that tunnel? Does that tunnel fall into the chassis or is it a contained area? Seems like could use another door for storage. :D

Is the fuel-starvation problem also there in the MY2013 Zs? is there a recall or TSB out?

JARblue 05-11-2015 11:41 AM

lol the only fix for fuel starve is an $1100 product from CJM (top notch!) or dry sump...

Nissan hasn't even acknowledged the CSC, which is an actual part. No way are they going to acknowledge a phenomenon that, due to poor tank design, generally only occurs in specific scenarios where the car has to be almost out of fuel and being pushed past the skill limit of 99% of drivers.

I live in New Mexico and I think I'm the only dude here not packin! It's a way of life for people here. Some of them even carry in the work trucks while on the clock. Nobody questions it what-so-ever. I'm originally from California where the attitude is a bit different so I have trouble fitting in with guys that take their 8 year olds out shooting on the weekends.

Funny, I told my eldest I would take her shooting when she was 10. She's already clamoring for it at 8 but she's still can't remember all 4 basic weapon safety rules. Not too bad in practice, though. ;) Time to start her 'snapping in'

Man, that's scary. That's why I feel safer in big cities. The sad part, here in Chicago, is that most people on the troubled south side have guns and that where most of the killings take place. Like a friggin war zone down there. Sorry, no place for a rant in a car forum.

Agreed! I definitely did not intend to start a handgun debate. I'm just concerned about a member getting whacked upside the head by a flying pistol during an accident. Keep that thing in a holster or in the glovebox!

Christian Slater in True Romance?

stansens 07-13-2016 05:51 PM

I love to vacation in the winter down in Florida. Won't take my 2016 370z down due to snow and salt on the drive down there. Hopefully if I run into someone with a gun it will be a z owner and I can show him a picture of my baby back in my garage. Sad to here of all the troubles across the border lately.

It's actually Ricky from Trailer Park Boys! If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it. They have all 10 seasons (and some of the movies) on Netflix.

Since the thread has been bumped.. I don't think I saw this one, but I inadvertently found out that the "beep beep" sound when locking the car with the buttons on the door handles can be silenced by holding the lock button on the fob for long enough. I believe this is how I did it anyways. The lights will still flash.
