not a nissan but similiar story, we were looking at Audis for the wife and all their Nav systems were missing a chip needed for the back up cameras. So if you bought an Audi with Nav you had to take it back in a couple of months to have a chip installed for the back up camera. whenever the chips arrived from Japan.

The dealer I bought my 2009 from in May of 2010 had eight or more coupes to choose from. They must not have been selling well so they blew them out* and have never had more than two or three on the lot since. Tuesday just one, a 2011.
* roadsters were marked $7500 off sticker three months later.
