More like stupid truck drivers. How often do you see these tanks driving down the road or poorly parked in shopping malls with nothing more than some little lady or otherwise single individual piloting this monstrosity! If you cant drive the car, or even have a use for that much space, please save us all the annoyance of watching you try.

Texas has a lot of moronic car drivers too. Its just that Texas truck drivers are sooo bad that you forget about how bad the car drivers are. The slanted parking thing drives me up a wall. And why is it everyone in texas is friggin handicapped? Go to the mall, you'll see a monster truck with a handicap sticker. Come on really??? I went to the casino's in oklahoma. The casino had 50 handicap spots. I kid you not!!! Every single car was from texas while the Okies were parked in regular spots.

How bad is it when a quad in a van is using his last bit of independence to get himself to a store while some overweight moron is too lazy to walk so he asks for a handicap sticker due to knee pain. So now the quad has to park in the back??? Wow... Here's an idea. Lose the weight to relieve some pressure walk to get some exercise and let "the real handicapped guy" have the parking???

ONLY IN TX.

I am aware of that. I just am really new to this area and from looking at their web-site and from hearing what USAA had to say about them I figure I'll check them out.

All There work is warranted as well. However I am going to request a walk around their facilities to see how they operate and if I don't like something I'll have no shame pulling out of there and finding a new place.

IMHO, while a lot of dealerships are bad, so are a whole lot of random collision places. Given no prior knowledge of a "good" place to get the repair done (maybe the TX forum can help?), I'd default to using a Nissan dealership. Either way the insurance is covering the cost, and they're likely to be more familiar with the car and use factory parts/paint/etc.

Hell even the real Lambo drivers drive like Shrimp Fried @$$ on the xpressway. and it always get worse, as you come up to pass us cellular field. like seriously. Im paying you guys way too much money to drive on these roads where the sign says40-60 and the flow of traffic, not even the speeders, is 85-95.

but i will say this, driving the expressway does get your blood flowin. kinda like lake shore drive right after sunset.

Guy I work with drives a silverado or something, not even that big of a truck. Every day he comes to park he parks in the same corner area of the lot, and every time he does it he jumps the curb with his front left tire trying to get it there. It's like he cant ever figure out the size and dimensions of his own vehicle so he just doesnt bother trying anymore.

18 wheel truck drivers can pull a 3 point turn on a 2 lane road, why the hell cant you properly park a 2 door truck in a single parking spot without it being crooked with the ***-end in the other lane, or plowing your front end over the grass to straighten it out lol.

Got the appraisal done tonight.

Grand total: $1,859.

Nothing has to be replaced. The grand price includes the $950 for the single Volk wheel as well.

Side job I asked them to do is they are going to paint my door handles to match as well as paint the front fang black for around a total of $120.

Just waiting for the appraisal to work its way to the insurance company of the "lovely" lady that hit me so that it can get their blessing. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

That's great news! I have another stupid driver story who backed into my passenger side door. Fortunately the body shop was able to just buff out the scuff and used pdr to get rid of the dents. Still cost the other driver around $400 plus w/e it cost to fix his car

chuckd05 10-18-2011 10:51 PM

just re finish the wheel for now and wait for the new one
