Check your usercp and I'll tell you about it.

Don't go there plz.

The Z is an excellent sports car. It has some issues, such as oil temps, but the driving experience is terrific.

Please reference my response on pg1. Fantastic driving feel. IMO, best in a new model unde 45k (miata not included)

I think I know how you feel. I came from driving a s2000 and the 370z doesnt have that raw feeling like s2k. Our Z handles very well and overall a great great sports car. However.......it does kind of feel like playing a digital football rather than going out in the rain and playing real football.

But do I regret buying the Z? Hell no, not even close. Its just that sense of feeling the Z lacks. Not a major issue

Granted, this car isn't as responsive as a Miata or S2k. It's quite a bit bulkier.

But I think it's pretty nimble for the power and comfort.

i dont think the car is the problem here. more like poor planning.

Planning for what? I test drove the car, loved the initial impressions, but then the little things started becoming more pronounced.

These aren't the things that you can really get from a test drive, for me anyways. Only after I daily drove it for some time.

It took about a year and 15k miles and only then since I was willing to give it time for me to adjust to the car. Just never posted about it.

I just picked up my Z this past weekend. Before the Z I had an '06 C280 which I hated with a passion. That thing was slow and the mods were expensive.
Before the benz I had a 350Z which I loved.
Sure, it only seats two.. but I figured 'oh well' I'm young now, later on I'm prob gonna have to have the sedans and god forbid the minivans...

The S2K really does have great, sharp steering, but you don't get much feedback from the wheel due to the electronic power steering and I tended to wander all over the road because I couldn't tell I was steering the car. I had the same issue with my EP3.

I don't get that with the 350Z or the 370Z, though the car is quite a bit heavier (and understeers more, etc.)

having a practical (or atleast be able to carry 4 passengers) dd and a sports car for hobby. you mentioned one car can't do it all. that's a given for a 2 seater sports car, no? :) i dont want a practical hobby car. defeats the purpose of just having plain fun.
