McDonalds Monopoly has 370 as a prize

Saw the commercial on tv, & the Z was displayed for like a tenth of a second, so I went on the website, & sure enough, one of the prizes is a 2012 370Z.

Looks like there will be some weight gaining in my near future.

I only show a Mustang GT500, unless I am missing something.

MONOPOLY :: McDonalds.com

m4a1mustang 09-25-2011 10:05 PM

I think that might be last years list?

Here's what I found: Online Prizes | 2011 MONOPOLY Game at McDonald?s Online Game

tmjohansen 09-25-2011 10:10 PM

Ah yes, that could be the problem.

Skeeterbop 09-25-2011 10:32 PM

Noticed the only way to get the Z is with an instant win piece, you can collect pieces to win a Leaf. Also from the fine print, it seems to be a sport package. Wonder if they give you the touring or base?

m4a1mustang 09-25-2011 10:37 PM

Would be nice if you got Sport + Touring + all options.

Skeeterbop 09-25-2011 10:43 PM

that would be bad***!

For those wondering which model it is.

Lemers 09-25-2011 10:47 PM

I would take what they offer as a cash replacement.

Skeeterbop 09-25-2011 10:49 PM

I would just take w/e they give me and replace my current one with it lol

Skeeterbop 09-25-2011 10:56 PM

There are also 12 available to win.

hdskull 09-26-2011 02:37 AM

Man...I'll just cancel my order & go to McDonald's every day. Not that many people eat at McDonald's right? Should be a pretty easy win?

RiCharlie 09-26-2011 11:06 AM

I think I am going to rush down there and get two double bacon cheese burgers with a large order fries and a side of deep fried lard chips with sour cream dressing!

Wrong, you should only play to receive a chance for a free burger or drink or whatever. The odds are exactly like it's stated.

12 winners. Now that's out of millions of game pieces printed, so even that 1 printed ticket will not even come to your state. I could have 4000 pieces and the chances of winning still suck major donkeys. Two years ago, I accumulated more weight than actual stated prizes.

NewYorkJon34 09-26-2011 02:13 PM

If I won it, I'd sell it & put the money towards a used Z06

Sounds like it is time for a sarcasm detector recalibration.

It's not sarcasm when I really mean what I said. I'm not the only one who tried to accumulate 1000s of pieces. I did a stat project in college where 6 friends and I gained a good 7lbs each eating nothing but McDs. We got about 500 tickets and still not a single winner. We went to like 15 different McDonalds.

<sarcasm> Freaken Boardwalk! </sarcasm>

Red__Zed 09-26-2011 04:24 PM

Well then sounds like we need a statistics comprehension recalibration :rofl2:

themann1984 09-26-2011 04:28 PM

If you won, you would have to pay income taxes on your winnings. It would count as earned income and thus be taxed at your highest marginal rate. Your $38,000 Z would cost an extra $12,000 (more or less) in cash.

The 370 Z is pure sex! It is hot, loud, and rough!

Skeeterbop 09-27-2011 12:57 AM

After thinking about it i would just ask them if i could get it's MSRP in cash instead, then pay off the remainder of my current Z.

They would probably offer you a only small fraction of the MSRP....they probably got the car for free in exchange for the promotional advertising they gave Nissan...in fact I would not be surprised if Nissan gave them the car and then paid additional fees on top of that..after they ( Nissan) are getting millions in promotion being a part of all this..

I used to be in advertising and i have some idea how these things work...

Red__Zed 09-28-2011 08:30 AM

There's a cash equivalent to all the prizes you can opt for instead.

If I won it... it would depend on the color, what I would do with it. If its mblue? Id sell mine and keep the prize. But no matter what, the remaining money will be going to GTM so they can install FI in the car. But ever since yelp.com. I may reconsider...:inoutroflpuke:

I could take or leave Touring. Base seats are more comfy on road trips for big guys.

I know this because I had no aches or pains driving Chiana to Zdayz, but I was hurting after 12 hours in the Smurf.

Pretty sure that had nothing to do with the seats:ugh2:

Nothing ventured, nothing gained... The odds definitely suck, though.
