In case you guys didn't want to read it all, you can skip to the last page, he does man up and races a boosted Integra at the end. Not the result I was expecting but still entertaining.

There seems to be plenty of "I killed a 370z" stories out there. I haven't seen many modded 370z race videos on YouTube. THere is one that sticks out my head though. A black Nismo Twin Turbo Z raced a M6.
Oh well. |
ahh i was just wathcin that vid last night. those m6's are no joke so thats a pretty big kill for a z. even if it is a tt

This thread made my Friday :bowrofl: I found lots lots of interesting point views about the 370 from other car owners. But I was surprised to find out that the 3000GT forum was the douchiest one of all. They really think so highly of themselves and their cars.

It looks like he counts a win when the other person doesn't feel like going 120+ on a public road. With that logic he is winning all the time just by passing cars racing or not racing.

These kinds of posts in various car forums crack me up.
I think most of these people who go out of their way to write about their car versus other cars may have deeply rooted psychological issues or even just simple character defects. I mean, so what? I was amused especially with the Crossfire forum. Man, these guys have problems. Are they validating their purchase of a Chrysler car that does not know what it wants to be when it grows up? Did they get picked on in school? Rejected by the prom queen? Mommy did not love them enough? Picked last on the softball team? Can't get over their first time in a locker room in junior high? I don't know and I am a professional. Whatever it is that makes people bash others for their car choice, and I admit that I myself am sometimes guilty of this, does not matter. People drive what they drive for their own reasons. Look hard enough and every car has its positive and negative attributes. Fans will be fans though and it meets some underlying need to feel like the object of your obsession is better than that of others. The Z in almost all of its iterations is not the best at anything (and I have had 10 not counting the 2 I currently own and drive), but it is a Z -- faults and all. Being a Z with its history, look and feel, driving experience and uniqueness is enough for me to love them. I rarely give a thought to others' choices. onzedge has written Have an excellent day everyone. :tiphat: |
Onzedge, you drove a great point about the crossfire guys validating their purchase all the time. This one guy blew up a fuse when I let him know that the wing coming up out of the car was the only cute thing about it :icon18: Had he been bigger than me ... :icon17:
