I'm just curious...

This isn't meant to be rude, but what's the deal with the GT-R start button? I mean, it's it just red? I actually like the OE button better myself. I just wanted to ask.

It is red and actually is a different material so it feels different when you push it.

No worries about being rude; it's a fair question.

I like it for the metallic red color. It really pops in a black interior, and doesn't look like something out of Altima/Versa.

It's one of the easiest and cheapest mods you can do. I've already had two friends comment on it.

I totally agree with you, because I thought the orange actually matched the rest of the lights that we have inside.

:iagree:

It doesn't look like milk and feel cheap.

It makes the car go quicker

You parsed his sentence wrong. He had two friends that commented not two buttons that friends commented on... :)

I wanted it to match my S2000 start button.

I use to care about the cool push button starters
thought they were cool. But know you can find em
On a Kia.

It's like the "Go baby go" button from Gone in 60 Sec.

When I ordered mine from Scott... that joker!

christian370z 09-22-2011 09:41 PM

It definitely adds some color to an otherwise black interior, plus it feels more solid when pressed. I like mine, that's all that matters in the end!

A buddy of mine wasn't even remotely interested in the mod until he saw mine! Seriously..you can't know how cool it is until you have experienced it for yourself. It's smooth, metallic..and NOT OEM. 'nuff said!

I have a 40th z. Honestly, the stock OE button pretty much sticks out a lot more than the GTR push start, which matches the red trim interior.
