From the manual "Also, if a child restraint of the type specified in the regulations is on the seat, the occupant classification sensor can detect it and cause the air bag to turn OFF." Also it states "If you must install a child restraint in the front seat, it should be placed in a front-facing direction only. Move the seat to the rear most position. Child restraints for infants must be used in the rear-facing direction and therefore must not be used in this vehicle."
Basically if they can ride in a front facing seat they should be able to ride in the Z. Just make sure the restraint/booster seat is positioned and installed properly. |

I have a 13 month old son and I use my Z as a daily driver. I have to take him to day care every morning and I dont see a problem with it at all. When he is in the car, I drive super cautiously. And it's not against the law in Georgia.
