Time to get Jack Bauer to teach Palmer a lesson

there's a major coverage difference-- all state will take much better care of you if something happens.

That said, I still use geico.

the rear quarter is going to have to be pulled and pushed back into shape. I'd guess there is frame damage, remember the rear quarter is a part of the larger frame. Keep us posted.

If some of you guys saw how some of these insurance companies dictate which parts get repaired and which get replaced and some of the stuff they don't pay/fix on customer cars it would make your heads spin!!!

And by the way that car is no where near totaled!!

specZ 09-13-2011 11:14 PM

as others have stated... my apologies, your car is repairable at this point :(

I had a silver one with less damage and it was totalled out. Took delivery of my GM 2011 today. A replacement from my accident. I'm assuming you are ok. That's what counts. Hopefully they will total the car and you can get a new one. Good luck.

ouch.. sorry to see this

Looked at it today in the auto body yard no visible frame or rail damage or misshape. Measured the wheel distances from fender well to tire wall and the driver side is about 3/4 inch further back then the passenger with the steering wheel perfectly straight...now i have to wait for the insurance adjuster to get out and look at it

im already depressed about not having my car after 2 days...this is gonna take forever... my rental is a Chevy traverse:mad: 3 ROWS OF SEATS sooo far off from my baby Z:mad: its like a fricking tank of car

any ideas of what could be bent that would push the wheel back just straight back doesn't appear to be out of alignment?

Thanks for the help guys This site has been fantastic the best forum ive ever been a part of

Your lower control arm is more than likely damaged. May have even gone as far the front crossmember, although, Its hard to tell from the photos you posted.

What do you mean??? I have the same coverage as before, I had to since I have a Note on the Z and Lease a Versa. Do you mean Allstate is just better?

If you ever file an insurance claim with both companies, the treatment is very different. My old civic got hit and run, and geico kept trying to only pay for clear coat halfway up the rear quarter panel:ugh2:

NYBladeZ 09-15-2011 11:32 AM

Geico is cheap but you get what you pay for once you file a claim. They will try to short changed you thankfully my body shop guy is a cool dude and more than makes up for their lack of effort. Good luck with the fix.

semtex 09-15-2011 11:39 AM

OP, just curious -- do you want it to be totalled?
