Yeah, the CY is one of those colors you have to see in person, pics don't do it justice. Like the CY, I didn't think too much of the solid red and monterey blue either until I saw them at a dealership. I fell in love with the blue and the rest was history.

Honestly, the 370 is just a sexy car all around and looks great in all factory colors.

I think most people like all the 370 colors but you will find haters for each and every 370 color.

I was not a fan of yellow vehicles until I owned one. After adding custom wheels to my yellow truck, it looks more and more like a custom truck and stands out over the common colors. If you like to have a rare car get yellow, if not pick another color. How often will you see a yellow z?

If you go yellow, you will appreciate it more and more as it ages.

I say do yay. Its a sports car... its supposed to be gaudy and attract attention. Don't half arse it, go all the way!

how often you say? never when i'm out driving. i've only ever seen one at a dealer a couple of years ago... since then nope. 370z are rare enough as it is and i wanted something not everyone has :happydance:

Yellow is different and certainly stands out. I had a Millennium Yellow Vette and it got lot of complements. I never got tired of the color. Your car looks great in this pic.

I say hell yay, I love my yellow Z and there aren't very many of them which is nice also.

Yellow cars in general are very loud and obnoxious. My 370Z is in Chicane Yellow and when I sit back and think about it.. I sometimes begin to regret buying it. Its loud.. its bright.. it attacts unneeded attention.. I sometimes feel like I should have gotten the car in silver or platinum graphite. But then I go outside and actually LOOK at my car and fall in love with it all over again. Its not a very practical color... but it sure does look friggin amazing!

I am still pissed that they did not do yellow when the roadster came out. I am still just a bit meh about black cherry. It looks great when it is clean and in the sun. The rest of the time... meh...

At some point when the roof fabric finally gets to the point of replacement I will respray the whole car and put a black fabric roof on the car. And will probably Alcantara the seats and dash.

I love the CY while the little lady hates, hates it. I like red and yellow but am afraid of the ticket getting attention.

I also like the one year exclusivity that yellow brings.

If yellow was offered for 2011 I would've gotten it. But I do love my new for 2011 Gun metallic.

I've had a couple of yellow cars and they aren't for the faint of heart. Yellow is like Ferrari red on steroids.

I think Chicane Yellow is a gorgeous color.

I was not a big fan of yellow cars until I saw it on the Z-- it's one of the few cars that truly looks awesome in yellow-- most cars can't pull the color off IMO.


That said, you have to have the right personality to pull off a yellow car. It will get a lot of attention.

Took a pic of my Z in the parking garage this weekend. IMO it's absolutely stunning in person and I don't regret my choice at all. My Z is still bone stock for the time being.
