I think the 370 and Cayman are 2 of the best looking sport cars. I purchased the 370 on looks alone. Love the sexy curves and style. Plus it is a great value.

Oh wait, you're a girl. When i told my co-worker my next car after the Z will be the cayman.

he said the cayman look sissy.

so it's true, you're girl and you like the cayman.

My hope is dashed.

In spite of owning a P.O.S. B210 - 1977 and my first new car, I bought a Z!

Seriously, having owned a few RX-7s and a Supra pre-children, once little gurney went off to college, I traded in my 2005 TL for the third G37S delivered in New Orleans. I was blown away with the build quality, but disappointed with the bulk, and frankly the styling.

The G35 was a beautiful car with an underachieving interior. The G37 has the interior, but the styling went cold on me pretty quick.

The 370Z is a totally different animal for me - sexy, sexy styling, great build quality, and just enough luxury in the interior without getting too plush. On the 30 mile drive home from the dealership last week, it reminded me so much of my 1983 RX-7. I didn't realize how much I missed that car until then.

I thought about a 911 as I have always lusted for one. I thought about an M3 too, but this is my daily driver, and I just don't want the hassles of endless minor glitches and outrageous maintenance. Just listening to three co-workers compalin about their M3's convinced me to stay with Nissan.

I washed it for the first time today and look forward to seriously detailing it this weekend. Some people play golf or fish, I like cleaning and driving my car.

I have become addicted to this Board. I appreciate the tips and the advice. I want to learn how to wrap my interior pieces in CF like Ken did. I installed my GTR button and Nav by-pass today.

Next up is a carbon fiber fang from the Z store. That comes next week. I'd like to do the EVO rear fog light too. Should have my VentureShield clear bra installed by Labor Day.

I've joined the Z Club of Houston, and will attend my first Cars and Coffee next weekend.

Emotionally attached to this car? You bet.

Cheers.

I bought the 370 because it is a Z and probably the best one made -- at least technically. I have owned Z's since the early 80's (81, I think). My 370 is my 11th Z.

My husband traded a '86 944 for a '90 300ZX Turbo in 1990. He enjoyed that Z much more then the Porsche. He regrets selling that car to this day. Styling wise the current 370 is just knock out!

i had an immediate emotional connection with the 370Z when i first saw one driving down the street. kinda blew me away. the last time i felt this way was back in 2003 when i first saw the G35C.

not many car impress me emotionally these days. they might look cool or have decent specs on paper/watever but it doesn't move me.

I agree with the emotional connection part. The Z is not the fastest, best handling car in the world, but it is a Z. One need say no more, IMO. The exceptions to this are the 300ZX's built between 84 and 89, along with any 2+2's.

Oh yeah, Happy Friday, Mr. Kenchan.
