I know what you mean OP. Sometimes the left mirror has blocked my view of some things and even someone before. Luckily I saw them as they came into view.

I have the same problem. I like the sit low, cuz most of race cars are like that. I'm only 5'6". I thin this problem applies to ones that sit low. I really want to design a new set of mirrors for 370Z.

Hasn't been a problem for me.

I am six feet tall. My hair some times touches the roof. I can see physically forward past the side door mirrors with ease. I suspect your sitting so low in the car it becomes a forward blind spot.

Let's face it the side mirrors are butt ugly. compared to the rest of the car...
They look like they came off a Ford F150..........

Remove both mirrors and drag would go way down.. and top end would reach
around 160......................

I had 2 close calls even with the little blind spot mirros.
