I want one for the Z and one for the 4x4

Anyone have a pic of what it looks like on a black car?

LETSGOEERS06 12-01-2009 09:44 AM

I should get one and put it on my jeep

Silly question but what happens when you rub a cloth against it after a car wash... do they start peeling off after a while? :-?

Haven't had any problems yet after a full year. You're washing a car, not scrubbing a stubborn kitchen pot.

Like with any vinyl decals, you shouldn't rub aggressively, or spray with a pressure washer. Microfiber towels tend to snag decals, but as long as you clean the surface properly, with rubbing alcohol before applying any decals it shouldn't be an issue!

No strands of thread from towels sticking on the edges? . . .

vipor 04-07-2010 10:18 AM

^ I get a little bit of that, but oh well. I'll just replace them after a while. I wash my car pretty often due to the weather/bugs/pollen and they still look fine.

I cleaned the glass thoroughly with alcohol, and then after application I rubbed the edges down hard with my fingernail.

I wash my car with a pressure washer and sponge it after it's soapy. Chamois dry. Haven't had anything lift an edge yet.

That's because I overnight these decals from JAPAN! :rofl2: :bowrofl:

I have them on my car since last year and no problem so far. As someone said, be careful when you use the soapy sponge. You should be okay. If a decal DOES get damaged, that's why I'm here for :hello: . I'll send you a set.

Any thoughts about maybe getting them reversed on a clear sticker so you can place it on the inside of the window to shine through without having to worry about washing them off?

What do you think about putting one on the back window of the roadster?
