Never take your car for granted

I just wanted to make a general comment nothing earth shattering.

We drive our 370's all the time are when ever time allows. and its easy to take
them for granted or get use to them. Anyway let me get to my point. My car
had been in the shop for about a week and in the mean time my rental was a
Dodge Dakota Truck. So the first thing i notice about the truck of course is how quite and smooth the ride is, for a truck anyway. But slow as xell.

Let me cut to the chase. So after driving this truck for a week i get my beloved
Z back today and it feels like a million bucks. Well built, tight, fast and fun to drive. Sorry to ramble and hope you catch my meaning. I guess you just have to own one to know one................................:driving:

Had mine at the dealer body shop the first week after I bought it so they stuck me with an Hyundai Elantra wagon :shakes head: I think it had around 6 or 7 hp at least it felt that way...instantly had an awesome appreciation for my Z. When I got it back I told them to burn the elantra and next time I want a Z or GT-R for a loaner :p

I had to drive a Pontiac G5 when I flew over to New Mexico back in March. I wanted to cut a hole in the floor boards so I could Flintstone my way onto the highway. I couldn't wait to get home to my Z

I always beat the snot out of rental cars! That's why it amazes me when people are willing to buy 'em!

i feel ya man. my BMW was gone for 8 weeks getting repaired. they gave me a chevy impala for 8 weeks. going from a brand new bimmer to a low PKG impala is not fun.

Maintenance schedules is adhered to.

I have owned cars that have had the crap beat out of them but were maintained well and they were great cars.
