I think people read too much into this stuff. I skipped reading most of this thread.
I give Z waves all the time, but I occasionally forget or don't see until they're too late. I wonder if those Z owners think, "Guy didn't wave, wat a dewsh". I've seen nothing but Z love with most enthusiastic Z owners. Go to a big meet like Zdayz, ZCon, or ZNationals, and you'll see what I mean. You're also always going to have a crowd of Z owners who could care less. Or maybe they just don't wave to other drivers. Or maybe they're driving someone else's car. I don't stress over it. When you get an approving nod or a wave back, it feels good. |
^Agreed for the most part, however there are still cases where I clearly see that a 350z driver will be driving alongside me and will look over with a disapproving look and drive away. I've seen some cool 370z drivers though, I impromptu caravaned from Malibu to Newport on the 405 with one 370z and the owner waved.
I try my best to wave or acknowledge Zs of all kinds if I see them on the road, but unfortunately you can't always expect anything in return. |
