Thumbs up Impressions from a long road trip

Just returned from a 1300 mile, 4 day road trip and was really impressed. Mileage (after the speeding ticket) averaged 28 mpg; Oil temp never rose above 220, even with 90+ degree temps. Did not burn any oil; Seats are really comfortable; A/C works great; Road noise not an issue for me; I love this car!!

I would agree 100%... I've taken a lot of long trips in the 370z and love it!

Yeap, roundtrip over 1,290 miles to ZdayZ (twice) with no issues.

I drove my Z 1700 miles one-way and didn't really have any complaints. Other than it was a little small for all of the bags my gf and I had, it was a smooth drive.

I returned from a 1,339 mile trip a couple of weeks ago. Average speed 68 mph, 27.8 mpg. Very comfortable, no oil usage, fun car to drive, comfortable seats and road noise not a serious issue for me.

I went on a 700 mile trip last weekend. Similar millage as everyone and no problems whatsoever. Killed the road noise with the stereo, but my hands were quite numb from the vibrations after a couple of hours. No serious complaints though.

Your steering wheel vibrates? I haven't noticed any vibration in mine except on really bad roads - you might should have that checked out?

Went on a 1,300 mile trip from OKC to CA. My brother and I hated the lack of comfort offered from the seats, and he said the seats on my sister's 370 non-touring were more comfortable. Thats my only complaint. Same trip in his 5.0 and the ride was much more comfortable.

Some of it included long stretches of bad roads, i think it also might have to do with the tires getting more bald, however it wasn't unbearable by any means. I can cruise in it all day.

Mine used to vibrate bad at high speed. Especially after I put spacers on. I took it to Nissan and had them Road Force Balance the car (was free under warranty) and it runs beautifully now.
