Sometimes I ride with my bookbag in the pass seat and the light will go on and off. If it's not going on or off with her sitting in the seat... something ain't right. |

Sometimes it's on sometimes it's off for my girl too. She's light as well but she can certainly survive an airbag shot to the face over the windshield ( god for bid ).

Airbags aren't really supposed to stop unbelted passengers from being hurt, and a belted passenger shouldn't be hitting the windshield.
The sensor is more than weight based, I believe it is pattern based. |
