We have all said stupid stupid things at one time or another, or more similar example is that you guys have worn clothes that others would consider extremely old/gay/tacky/try hard/gangster/emo etc.
Imagine if these two guys see you walking down the street in your clothes of choice (that you think are the best, make you look oh so good) pointed a camera right in your face, asked you questions about your clothes making fun of you, then posted up here for all to see...yeah would be gay as hell huh

If I were lying to inflate my own ego or self-worth then yes, I absolutely, 100% deserve to be made fun of all across the internet.
If you really think about it their lying is what makes it so hilarious. If the guy had simply said, "of course it's not supercharged, I just did that to get some laughs," do you really think anybody would have cared? No. If you act like a douchebag you should be prepared to be called out.
