Sooo....Stopped in a line of traffic, guy behind me stopped too...Girl in a Honda wails into him, which pushes me into the Cherokee in front of me...She was clearly at fault and it was even recorded on video by a local store security camera..Car is drivable, but will need New front and rear caps,

Thanks Socal....Yes it does (suck!). Maybe it's a Blue curse? The receiver hit dead on the aluminum structural brace up front...All parts look like bolt-ons, but a PITA nonetheless.. My Stillen exhaust is due in Friday and I was planning a drive to the Dragon next week... I'll probably just stay on plan as the car is perfectly driveable.... Blah....Just looks like hell!

Wow, very sorry to hear this. Can it simply be the color blue? I drive a Monterey blue as well. Today, this girl totally ignored her red light and almost crashed into me. I had to floor the Z to avoid the accident! :shakes head:

SOP for California drivers. My wife and I were approaching an intersection where we did not have to stop, but the other intersecting street had stop signs. My gut told me to slowdown and sure enough a young girl "text messaging" (she had the her phone on the top of the steering wheel looking direct at it while she punched-in keys) runs right through the stop sign in front of us—she never even realized what she had done. Had I not slowed down she would have t-boned my side of our automobile! BTW she was driving a blue Ford Ranger pickup. Believe me it's not the Monterey blue color—it's jackass drivers you need to worry about.

Driver's Licenses really need to be made harder to get. I'm suprised half the people on the road can even stop themselves from drooling on their steering wheel.

Kind of weird. There seem to be a lot of collisions given the small number of 370s out there. I think it would be cool to have a "accident" sticky thread where everyone could posts their accidents/collisions/etc in one place.

Man, that new front hitch location looks almost OEM!

For those following this saga, the Total estimate came to $5476......

This presents an opportunity to do somethng a little different up front...If you look at the black plastic across the top of the grill opening, you'll see this is the raw plastic grill material. It is just masked off when they paint the nose. .. I think I'll have them not paint the fang area, leaving that whole front area black similar to a GTR look. There is another Black Fang thread and it looks pretty good... I'm also going to have them paint the Rear fog light blanking plate blue while their shooting.We'll see! Bout 2 weeks til I can schedule the fix..

Let's see...Atlanta, GA to Greenville, NC is approximately 486 miles...Semtex traveling at 160-mph would place him there at just around 3 hours. Yep, it was him!

Yeah..It's an awesome Billet aluminum one made by Forge in England. I don't think they're available anymore, but I have a friend who had a stash he was selling off. I'll check. I bought 2, one got powdercoated white to match my vette, but that car is departing shortly (with the frame). I think the other that resides on the back of my wife's Element deserves a more fitting home. I have some blue powdercoat that is real close to Monterey.. Good thing I didn't have it on the car when she got wacked....
