after hearing about some Hybrid lexus's dying after a heavy rain I think i'll hold off on the hybrids for a while. I agree with AARC get a TDI Jetta

I agree with AARC get a TDI Jetta for the mileage. only reason I would get a smart car is if I lived in the city and parking was a bitch, but working in a city with lots of smart cars I still see people every day who have problems parking that car.
