mmmmm white.

great looking color, it was in my top 3.

Pearl white was my second choice... and almost got one when I was having trouble locating my PG but the mismatch between the plastic and metal surfaces was the deciding factor.

On some/most PW's.... not all ;)

I bought a 2009 back in October of 2010. I had been sitting on a dealers lot since it arrived and that dealer was bought out by another who in turn had it sitting on his lot. He definitely did not want a 2009 on his in 2011 so I bought it for a good price.
The point is that this white Z sat on the lot all this time in rain and shine, heat and snow and I am sure they did not polish it. Well to answer you question, the color is perfectly white...no yellow at all

Couldn't agree more.

Also, RiCharlie, did you know that I bought my PW Z (2010 model) shortly after you posted your car stating that you bought it (in the "strictly pw" thread)? Your car, along with another couple of PW Z's, helped with my decision to get that color... particularly your avatar.

So thanks again ;)

Oh PW, you look so good in any time of day or night.

It's easy to take care of and looks nice.

Older paints tended to yellow more from UV - back in the 90's. Newer paints do not tend to do this as much, if at all.

I hate the black water stain on my PW, usually at both door where the mirror is. That thing is hard to remove, my NXT gen 2 car wash cant remove it, clay also cannot, only cleaner wax...any other option ?

Methodical4u 06-18-2011 02:41 AM

any color should start right off with a good wash, clay, wash, buffing, and seal and/or waxing. I am on my third layer of sealant right now and plan to just keep layering it on. You should see the water just flow off the car when i'm washing it... NOTHING sticks to it that a hose set on jet can't get off.

As others have said... care of the car is what makes the difference.

Methodical4u 06-18-2011 02:43 AM

by the way... IF a car has yellowed like that.. it would likely brighten up quite a bit from a top notch detail... but again that would only be from neglect of the car.
