SRM holds revs on upshifts to match intended gear, and increases revs on downshifts to match intended gear. DRM increases revs on downshift to match intended gear, but does nothing special on upshifts. On an automatic, I don't think upshifts take long off for a rev drop past the next gear, especially since there is no skip gear shifting.
