Damn Z's are getting molested left and right.

Sorry to hear what happened.
Hope your Z gets back to perfect condition. Good Luck with everything.

Another bad week for Zs.

I lived in Philadelphia for seven years and had three entire cars stolen and my car broken into over 20 times. It got so bad that I eventually rigged handles with razor blades. They stole my battery almost 20 times and even took my alternator one time. That city is full of crooks.

I believe this! My dad has had the car since early December and he lives right down in the middle of town. So far, he's had a break in attempt, hit and run (quarter panel), and now this.

I hope this doesn't get too out of hand...

F$%King P&@@ies, this gets me worked up I hope you find them first and beat the F&^k out of them.

Wouldn't be surprise that this happened. I assume the dealership you're talking about is the one at the airport auto mall on Essington Ave. The area is huge and not well guarded, very easy for someone to walk up, take their time and steal the wheels. Got my car from the same dealership, service techs there seems shady and even asked me once if I wanted to race for pinks. I'll keep an eye out for your dad's wheels.

i really HATE wheel locks, but the stock wheels on these cars are just so flashy im running both the stock nissan (mcguard) locks as well as these gorilla locks since they have a spinning collar.

Will these work on the sport rays?

sonic370 05-21-2011 07:57 PM

agree with Zima i'm going with it was an inside job...........

daisuke149 05-21-2011 10:50 PM

the dealership btw should cover everything. Make sur ethey dont try to pressure your dad into having your own insurance cover it.

Damn.. wish I saw this thread before I bought my car from this Stealership they are definitely a bunch of asshats. I've had to go back to them twice now about misc. Bs

Maybe we should all just paint with some nailpolish or something a number or something on the back/inside of the rims.........

This is actually a pretty good idea. Or, even better yet...Dremel a small set of initials on the inside barrel.

I bet the dealership is going to wash their hands and tell the owner to deal with their insurance.

Same question

jacob80 01-26-2012 08:08 AM

I guess some kind of distinct marking could help you determine whether the wheels are yours...if you even find them.

He had no luck finding the wheels as of yet.
