I confirmed with 2 dealers that adding an oil cooler does not impact warranty. Addition of an oil pan spacer does void it -- a cooler does not. This is, of course, assuming that the oil cooler itself is not the cause of a failure.

Nissan north America refuses to issue a statement either way. Until then, it's discretionary. NNA may refuse to reimburse a dealer for the costs if they don't approve, and if you don't have it in writing, no dealer is going to eat that cost.

230 or 260 is not limp mode. dont peel off the tape until you hit it. you will be a lot happier

I don't fret temps under 300. Limp mode gets in the way though.
