Friday night i went out with this girl on a "first date". She was following me on my way to a friends house. While i was sitting at a stop light, she slammed into the back of me.

Im pissed but shes soooo hot, i couldnt be too mad. i know, i know, f$%@ that but she is seriously smoking hot. Pretty sure im hook, line, and sinker for at least a sympathy f%$#.

She has Progressive, and i dropped the Z at the Nissan Dealership this morning. They said it would take about 2 weeks to repair. I post updated after i hear from the adjuster.

BTW. I had just detailed it using Adams Products(AMAZING this stuff is), and installed some Polk db6501s that same day...

kenchan 05-02-2011 11:43 AM

sorry to see this again, Astrofan. i saw your picts on the other thread. :(

but i guess if you ever marry this hot girl of yours, you sure have a life long story to tell your kids and grand kids and great-grand kids. :D hahaha. GL with the repairs and the new girl.

370zproject 05-02-2011 11:45 AM

TheGreatOne 05-02-2011 11:45 AM

However for hitting your car, this should propel you about 5 dates ahead, you're in a much better place than your car right now, but thats ok lol :)

thanks man! I really appreciate the sympathy!

She feels horrible that she ruined my gorgeous "space car". Only if i could have taken her for a ride in it, but that will come in time. Almost nothing is more satisfying that hearing a girl squeel and scream while going on a fun ride.... Kinda gives me a chub.

I keep telling her that its ok, **** happens and its a good story! I think shes coming too now.

she hit me hard enough to slide into the person in front of me. Luckly i was following that person to the friends house. It didnt do anything to her car though. I think the Stillen License plate frame saved the front end of my car. Im really hoping the replace the front bumper. Its peppered with rock chips.

You're doing it the wrong way... she's supposed to be the meat in the sandwhich.... :ugh2:

:icon17: Sucks about the car, though. Hopefully it gets fixed up quickly and she... umm... makes it worth your while. :tiphat:

steveg78 05-02-2011 01:17 PM

Why even replace the bumper? It looks like a kit now with that sexy huge gash across the whole back. And she cleared out your drivers side tail light for ya...

On a serious note, if you had the stillen front bracket, you might want to check the tow-hook mount out because that could be fubar'd.

370zproject 05-02-2011 01:17 PM

Glass half full=at least a cute girl was the one who ran into you.

spearfish25 05-02-2011 02:06 PM

Well, she already gave it to you in the a$$. It's only fair that you get to return the favor.

:iagree:

AmbitiousCK 05-02-2011 02:49 PM

You better pound her in the rear as hard as she did you...lmfao.

WhiskeyHotel 05-02-2011 03:11 PM

And that conludes the "Let us be vulgar for you segment" of the thread.

Seriously, though "space car"? LOL

OrangeJuice 05-02-2011 03:13 PM

Sounds like you planned it. Slammed on your brakes so she'd hit you...you sly SOB. Wish I had thought of this...

Seriously, best story ever. Really hope you get to screw her brains out.

And uh...I mean, I hope your car is ok too:ugh2:

I mean, depending on how much damage was actually done, and if they do need to replace the rear, yes, they can put a nismo body on it.. if the cost is the same, your good to go, worst case scenario, you pay maybe a couple hundred bucks out of pocket for a nismo kit

azn370z 05-02-2011 03:47 PM

I think it's going to take months not weeks to fix your z. I would think they need to replace your rear fender then paint most of the z. Usually a great body shop has a waiting list so it's not uncommon to wait a month for them to start work.

ugh.... not news i like to hear! Thanks for the honesty though, id rather know what im getting into so when the call comes in, its not as much of a shock.

oh, and they will have to replace the rear fender, hatch and some serious bodywork on the rear quarter panels. Plus the rocker panels(side skirts?) and hopefully the front bumper......

As for the "Space Car", i dont expect for her to know anything about cars, but she likes it which is all that matters. My last GF didnt give a flying **** and hated it every time i had fun in it with her in the car. One of the reasons i ditched that one.

azn370z 05-02-2011 04:02 PM

My 350z was rear ended but mine had slightly less damage to the 2 rear quarter panels. I think they told me 1 month and it took 2. It ended up costing her insurance company more than $20k to fix. They did a really good job because I couldn't tell where it was painted.

Astrosfan 05-02-2011 04:16 PM

that sucks dude. 2 MONTHS!

Im not sure what id do if i have to drive this stupid Kia Optima for 2 months. I really hope they can get this fixed soon. (crossing fingers)!

I was supposed to get my HFCs installed this week too!

Im trying really hard to remain positive. Negativity has never had a good outcome in my life. wooosaa woosaa

ZeeingAround 05-02-2011 05:45 PM

How does she feel about the whole thing? Are you getting a second date or shying away from her?
It is only a car, but I am glad there was no one else in the car with you.
Does she need new glasses or was she on her cell phone? I would like to know the excuse, because it better be more than stupidity.

Dark Sarcasm 05-02-2011 05:58 PM

She wouldn't have rear ended you if she wasnt texting her boyfriend.

red6spd 05-02-2011 06:32 PM

Hope she stills likes ya when her insurance company jacks up her rates. Thats at least 10K+ in damages probably alot more. I had similar damage on a G20 and it cost 7k to fix, and they didnt have to replace my rear quarters like there probably gonna for you. Good Luck with everyting man.
