Do I need to know them better then? I didn't realize that owning a car like that anywhere entitles you to being an as$hole. It doesn't matter what you drive, this is not fair to the rest of the people who park normally.

This is in Irmo btw.

I'm just saying people don't care about your stuff. I saw some lady kick her car door open into another persons car on Sunday and not think twice about it it sucks when you do the right thing and some a-hole messes up your ride. Sorry for posting.

Agreed!
I sometimes take up 2 spots, or 1 spot and the hazard section.. but make sure that it's far away from the doors and there are lots of other spots.
People just don't have respect for others property and it will suck when I come out and see a dent one of these days.

Yah, but I don't mean anything by it. Ask my wife, she'll tell ya the same thing (and she's full blooded Chinese). :icon17:

Its different in this case. They have to park like this. The truck is way too long to park in a normal spot and will stick out and people can hit it very easily. This guy is actually doing everyone a favor and parking wayyyy in the back and only using 2 spots, staying completely out of the way. There's no getting around it.

Edit: Those lines look really long though, he might've been able to actually park there just fine in one spot.

That's true, but like you said it could have easily fit in one spot just fine. Behind the picture is the restaurant so it is still in the closest spacers to the restaurant.

Oh, I definitely agree with you on that! I have even been sitting in a car in a parking lot and had someone swing their door full on into the car, causing a nice sized ding. I got out and asked what their problem is and they said "what is your problem, who cares everyone gets dings anyway." It was also a lady, not being sexist but the majority of people who have that mentality are also women in my experience.

F THAT!!! I would have MADE her pay for that damage. Got her name, #, etc..... if not, I would tell her to stay put while I kick her door in with my boot...after all, who cares right? Maybe I'll take out her mirror while she watches. Everyone gets a "ding" right? How does it feel?

Agreed! That's a b.s. response from someone. They would be the same person who would crawl out of their car screaming whiplash if you tapped them in the rear leaving the lot.

some drivers they dont judge by the white lines when they park, they judge by the distance between their car and other people's cars even if they have to park over the white lines.

In this case, the BMW has a sense of where he is. Other drivers, they would have parked closer to the Porsche.
