Which is why I like the old parking lots that had the double lines between cars. Someone along the way thought either that the average driver can park right or that they thought they would save space, and in the end most are unintelligent and just don't give a crap about your car because they will never own one or simply view a car as an object to get from point A to point B and that's it.

Maybe Chinese have it right?

Probably to keep the jackoffs from blocking the sidewalk.

A few dummies where I work pull in until the tires touch the sidewalk which a) is great for the alignment and b) blocks at least half of the sidewalk.

But I'm sure the 1 or 2 cars that drive through that lane every day appreciates the extra foot and a half of space they don't need. :shakes head:
