What the hell is he doing? Stealing parts from other cars and piecing together another car. A door from this one, a hood from that one, hatch from from this one from over there, etc.

I'm guessing he probably put a good chuck of $$$ into that ... thing :ugh:

If he's not going to have any taste, he could at least have some respect for other drivers :shakes head:

There was a version of the VW Golf that was sold like that from the factory. The wheels are aftermarket.

He probably only parks like that to draw attention to his car.

Hood is teal/turquiose on one and yellow on the other. Those are not the same colors :shakes head: :icon17:

It was called Harlequin (1996) and came in various configurations of colours.

Very rare car. Only 264 were made and offered in 1996, mostly in the United States. As of February 2014, 113 of the original 264 Golf Harlequins have been found and documented. So it's more rare that some supercars.

So I would want to protect it as well. Hopefully, if the driver parks it like this, they at least did in the furthest reaches of the parking lot.

Got a real gem here. My father-in-law took this pic himself a couple weeks ago. It had just happened.

You might recognize this as the McDonald's on Burnet Road, just north of the Anderson Lane light. Maybe they just wanted Thundercloud instead :icon17:

The driver is all like "OH CRAP, I thought I was driving the Grave Digger"

Or perhaps, perplexed by the cone in the spot they wanted, chose an alternate path to get there?

cooltoy 02-16-2015 10:43 AM

I guess he wanted for a short cut.
