I did notice that guage drops fast when that warning light is on
I think once I was at 52 kms alert left, drove maybe 15K highway, stopped for some candy at a corner store...turned her back on and it was like ---- lol.

I agree with you that gas guage does fluctuate its reading drastically sometimes. But personally, for the most part it has been pretty good for me. In your case it was kind of a perfect storm. And I agree with others, you have to take some blame here.

Wow, I cannot believe you could complain about such an obvious mistake on your part...never believe any guage until you can prove it's validity. Perhaps your guage is just one of a million. I would never take a chance of running out of fuel especially in desolate places Next time take a few extra minutes off and top off your tank. |

??
Nobody buys a car knowing all the trouble its gonna give them, that doenst make any sense!? I would have never bought mine if i knew it was gonna be a total failure consuming oil. I think its good that there are laws that protect the consumer, but a class action lawsuit for a gas guage deficiency is a little extreme

A gauge that is off by a gallon/20miles, whatever. One that is off by 2 or 3 gallons? Give me a break. Heck, it doesn't even work when you are at the track unless you have more than 3/4 tank.
