You sure? It's recessed in quite a ways. All it is is a threaded hole into which you screw the loop.

Edit: That sounded vaguely dirty didn't it? :yum:

Hm. I musta missed it or something. I presume it would look like the front tow hook mount.

Mine came with this hook under the carpet in the rear. Don't they all come with this one? :rolleyes:

No, most of us got the TS Titanium hook. Looks like you got screwed.

bluz34 and i spray painted ours black and just use it for front bumper protection. i make sure mine sticks about 2.5" out. not gonna stop suv's though

You could easily damage your frame if something solid hits it.
