Nah, not at all. I think most of the people rolling their eyes here are doing so because of the nature of this guy's posts. They are all very self-righteous with an obvious "marketing" edge.

I have nothing against Amsoil itself. A marketing strategy based on talking down to anyone who chooses a different product seems counter-productive to me, but that doesn't mean anything is wrong with the product itself. Hopefully someone who's using Amsoil with their 370Z will post a UOA some time soon so that we can compare results in a constructive, non-condescending manner. Same thing goes for Nissan's Ester oil -- I'd love to see a UOA of that stuff too.

Simple solution to the bickering... Ban all oil threads. I know I'm sick of them.
