Do you regret the color of your Z?
Do you regret the color of your Z? if yes what color do you have now and what would you rather have?
i had a white one and when i saw the blue color a year later in person i was in love( even though the white looks sexy ). so i traded my 2009 pw coupe and picked up a 2010 mb (roadster). i love the blue and i realy wanted a raodster but if i was to get a coupe i think it would be the yellow one.:bowrofl: |
Nope. I saw Black Cherry and fell in love. I still love it. Wouldn't want any other color.

Regret the color of my Z? Blasphemy! I love my Chicane Yellow Z. As you all know, it is the best color for a Z:tup:

I have the Black, I regret not waiting for the 40th Anniversary not only because I love the colour of the 40th but also because the Black shows scratches so easily and only really looks great right after being washed.

However, initially going into a Z I was hoping they would carry over the Daytona Blue from the 350 world. Which they did not. Instead we got the MRBlue and in pictures it looked too robins egg blue so I shy'ed away from it. Now I feel like kicking myself for it cause with the right accent mods it looks really good and is really eye catching. However also, I like the 40th edition color, but couldn't stand the interior. Also, under flouresent lighting it looks kind of purple. So that was a turn off. I'm told the 2011 Gunmetal color is the same as the 40th but doesn't have this purple hue. I would really like to see this color up close as that would have been the happy medium for me. Oh well, I love my black Z, just wish I could wash it more often in this damned Phoenix Dust! :rofl2: |
Nope, I wanted Red but after all the complaints about that color I'm glad I got the MB.

I very much like my 40th Quartz. It takes on different hues and tints based on time of day and how much sun is out.

Mine is the " in your face blue". When I went Z shopping this was the only coupe on the lot and whats more since it was an '09 leftover got the car for 28k (7sp/at, touring)
At first I thought that the color was way too in yer face, but hey, the entire car is in yer face. No regrets , love it more every day.:tiphat: |
Looking to buy and I want a white one

do I regret the color?
no regrets

i kinda wish i got the new gun metallic because pearl white sure makes it hard to clean. exhaust ash just sticks to the car!

I bought a pearl white,I had no regrets until I had to do some body work to it and matching the 3 stage pearl is bitch!!!
|
Got red and still very pleased every time I look at her. Red and sports cars are a natural combination. Other colors can be nice, too, though.
|
I love my ZR's Diamond Black. But it's a bi*** to clean and the quality of the paint is despicable. Panel behind the convertible roof came with marks and color glitches all over it - I had to bring the car back in to Nissan to get the entire rear panel repainted (free of charge, of course).

No regrets Black is soooooo sexy!!!
|
Wanted red until I saw my 40th sitting at the dealership. Don't regret my decision.
Seems like no matter what colour, the common complaint is soft paint or clear coat. I would love to see the return of Daytona blue and some sort of metallic orange. Heck, even a vibrant "Hulk" green would be better than the 100 shades of grey they have to offer right now. Don't get me wrong, I like the new gun metallic, but to have half the colour choices filled with grey is the issue. That's following in Henry Ford's example, "you can have any colour you like, as long as it's black". |
No regrets I love my blackcherry (sounds kinda dirty). My only concern is will it go with CF.

I love the PG except when I try to photograph the car. It tends to blend in to the background unless its bright with a lot of color around. Also it limits me when choosing accent colors for accessories. The only things that go with PG are silvers and blacks.

I'm sure I will take pictures when I do anything to my car. And I won't post them in the premium section. ;)

I love my red car :) wouldn't take any other color!
|

No regrets here going with the MB. That was the only option for me. I am lucky I found a MB with manual transmission and sports package near where I live (next closest one was 300 miles away).
My dad has a DB 350Z. We drove all the way up to Northern California (from L.A. area) to get that as he also was blue or nothing like me. |
Lovin mellow yellow baby!
|
To be honest, I never looked at the color when I bought my Z. I went to the nissan dealer to see red, black, and grey. I saw red and grey but not black (if it was black, they were all roadsters). I then just ordered my Z in black without even seeing it.
When It arrived on my door step, I fell in love. It had such a clean look to it. You can never go wrong with black. Wouldnt trade in for any other colors..........cept anniv. color, but I didnt have the budget for that bad boy |
