Mostly its the minorities around where I live that you see backing into parking-spaces. If they have flashy rims, you can bet they will see-saw back and forth a dozen times trying to line it up. It's a show-off thing. It's part of the formula that makes a $2500 beat -up old cop car BALLIN!

Dunno what inspired the viper owner. From what I hear, it's an older woman that owns it.

I pretty much back in everywhere I park in the z. The point isn't to show off its more of a I can see where I'm going kind of thing. The blind spots are too big to comfortably back out of a parking spot and risk some moron clipping me.

Can't say that I blame the vette's driver. Most (NOT ALL) viper drivers are major arseholes. Just read through their forum, you'll know what I mean.

Exactly. It's always much safer to back in when parking because you are able to view the entire area as you pull up.

Me too, although it would be tough to do with the parking spots the Vette and Viper are using :icon17:

I really just didn't want to ding the Viper (or my 'vette for that matter) and I don't normally back into spaces, so I just erred on the side of caution.

Great stuff. I didn't realize it was your corvette, it looks fantastic in white ;)

Thanks! White is a bit of a rare color for the Z06. As far as I know, even counting the special Ron Fellows editions, only about 1100 have been made since the C6Z was introduced.

I think every car has a color it looks best in. Regardless of what people will say, I think the corvette looks best in white due to how it shows the lines of the car. Dark colors hide a lot of the nuance of the body-work on the 'vette. Even the base models "pop" in white.
