i'm good with having a unique car, as long as Nissan is selling enough Z's to keep making them, i like turning heads.
if i wanted to be like everyone else i would've got a Mustang or something

Yeah true! if you head to cardomain.com you can see there are like 3,000 350z and only about 100 370z. Well thats a good thing, it makes our cars exclusive and special. I've yet to seen a 370 riced out, It seems to catch another market.

Here we go again with exclusive. The 370Z is NOT exclusive. A Veyron is exclusive... 370... not at all.

Somewhat rare... yes, depending on your location. :)

Are you implying that the average person could just show up at a dealership with a few grand, and walk away with a brand new $26000 car? Simply preposterous.:inoutroflpuke:

'Tis impossible for any working man to accrue the sum of twenty six thousand dollars in one lifetime!

I do believe you are right my good sir. I would invite you to join me for tea, but I simply cannot be seen with someone who drives a mustang.

Rare?

I bought my Z (how'd you get one for $26K?) because I love sportscars and realized this was a way to buy a real performer for those of us who could not afford a 911. I grew up on the Rx7 but it moved too far away from being a sportscar and the Nissan came back to its roots. As to rare, I really would like to see more of them on the road...okay, at least one other than mine.

Seattle Lion, you hit the nail on the head. I couldn't have said it as well if I tried. I salute you.

i hope i dont sound like an a$$hole for saying this, but i have more to be concerned about than a 10 dollar increase in my food bill per week. house prices doubled since the 90s, oil going up 400% in 15 years, electric bill, heating bill, insurance, taxes, fees, tolls, basically everything but my paycheck. on the other hand, the price of goods and technology have fallen. i remember paying 20 a month for a pager in the mid to late 90s, netcom used to cost me money. regardless, people who arent rich or dirt poor will get forked no matter what. its just a matter of how much lube they give you.

i dont know or claim to know about everything in the economy, but i at least have some common sense and can tell some difference between whats real and whats not.

You acknowledge that you do not know or claim to know everything about the economy. If you lack the expertise, you are merely speculating. Speculating is different than being able to tell the difference between what is real and what isn't.

You simply believe you are right but cannot support the claim. Your attempt to back your position with facts actually supported the opposite opinion. Okay, I acknowledge that when I buy a new laptop (every 3 years) it is less expensive than in the 90s, but that is more than offset by the increase in my monthly smartphone and broadband plans from their 90s equivalents.

It is okay to disagree with the opinions of others. However, if you do so in a condescending, insulting way, you need to be able to demonstrate that you are right. Simply having an opinion does not make you right, and it doesn't make your opponent an idiot who lacks common sense and doesn't know **** from shinola.
