Your Z maybe just a car, so you can treat your Z as just a car.

Mine is not. It is my Pride and Joy, My Investment, My Asset, My Baby.

Stop telling me to act like you do with your car. :happydance::happydance::happydance:

I gotta say, a car is a pretty shitty investment. You will never see a return on it.

But I do agree with the rest.

I used to be insane over my 350 no one drove it. I did everything possible to prevent even a scratch! Now with my 370z im still careful but i have no problem with mechanics and valets driving it. I love my car put alot of time and money into it but in the end its a toy not an investment.People should DD their z's enjoy it !

I have an '05 Titan, immaculate shape, all paid for, worth $10K (Edmunds/Kelly Blue Book)

How's that for a return on MY investment?

Sounds like you need to take care of YOUR investments a little better... :icon17:

A titan you most likely paid over 20k on that sounds like a 10 thousand dollar lose ...

Just watched the valet stall the car, and then lay down rubber trying not to stall again. I told him the aftermarket clutch was tricky. Can't decide if I should be amused or irritated.

I pefer to drive my car, just me. But I wouldnt have a problem letting a valet driver park my car depending on the place.

Didn't have a choice this time. Didn't want to force the issue at the gf's company Xmas party.

Cars are one of the worst investments ever. In fact they should be called a depreciating asset for a better description. Only a small fraction of a percent of vehicles gain value. 370z's or titans are not in that category.

What you are attempting to do is minimize your loss. Investing in Facebook has a better return!

Anyways, if you want to have nice vehicles, that's great. That's why we are here. Just don't fool yourself into thinking that its an investment.

If you purchased $20k in stock and it proceeded to lose 55+% over five years, would you consider that a good investment? I look at my stock portfolio and I would die if that happened! I'm just trying to stay ahead of the s&p
