i dont need a back seat, but i DO wish the car had heads up display... i feel as if I'm not distracted enough when i'm driving. I like to be able to look at moving lights on my windshield while driving.

maybe in 2012?!

I have two two-seaters and going for a third.

We have a Van and Subaru for transporting the kids.

Love having just two seats!

as a uni student, i save a lot of time and i can study a lot better when no one asks me for rides. dont have enough space in the back for a grocery + liquor run for anymore besides just me, and i only have i seat reserved for the missus.

Do the subaru guys have to go too?

I'm glad I have a fun car with backseats, and one without. I like to be the one driving, and sometimes you need to bring people with you. Sometimes it's better to leave the other people without a ride though.

I CLEARLY remember the salesman talking about the spacious back seat. Sold me on the car.

Now I have to take it back.

Hahaha, this reminds me of the sales lady that was going over a protege5 with me like a decade ago saying it had a 36cam V8. I was like wow! I asked if it was NA and she said 'right, it doesn't come with NA, but it has a upper strut bar.' :icon17:

*raises hand.

I was hinted for a 3some last weekend. I drove the Z that night and neither one of the girls was up for the trunk, or sitting on top of eachother.

So no.

Should have gotten them drunker.

Works for us, as we're empty nesters with wife's Prius also in our garage.

And no damn food in the car except for a peeled orange or two!:stirthepot:

Sounds about right!
Both my rides are 2 seaters, if that helps you know how i feel about it. :ughdance:

Its funny reading this cuz I'm livin in tx now but I'm from Crooklyn. When I began reading where u were going with this story, I knew u had to be from NY. Shifted the screen n to my accurate perception, you are. Most people in new york don't buy cars due to insurance rates, traffic and high risk of theft/damage. But when you buy a car, you become a taxi service. Some people try to take advantage. When I had the monte and grand national it happened all the time. When I switched to the mazda rx7. It stopped. Lol.
I never changed my friends though. I just simply said no when I couldn't or charged them for gas when I could. Lol.
The trick to giving a ride in NY is do it when you have a quarter tank or less and make them fill u up or at least put half a tank. Lol. Eventually they stop asking.

nyc represent
i park the z with the stock tow hook on sticking out almost 3 inches from the bumper for dumbass drivers.
thank god i got a driveway.

1 door would probably suffice

if I wanted to haul people I'd become a bus driver

What do i need a back seat for i have a house...

optiontrader 03-23-2011 11:47 PM

I do miss a back seat on occassion, but I admit having them would detract a little from the driving fun!

I work right by the kid's school - if the timing's right, I could swing by the school and pick the kids up; and save the wife a trip.

Kinda a downer not being able to share fast acceleration up the on-ramp or quick 270-deg off-ramps with the fam...

...but it sure is darn easy to keep clean!
