Have you checked with a wiring diagram to make sure you're plugging into the power only wire, and not a data transfer wire thats making it ripple? Why not buy

Have you checked with a wiring diagram to make sure you're plugging into the power only wire, and not a data transfer wire thats making it ripple?
Why not buy the wired in kit that takes from a fuse in the footwell fuse box and hides behind the A pillar? It's just as clean but with a slightly longer wire??
