but that's just me and 100,000,003 more car enthusiasts. :icon17:

houkouonchi,

For whatever reason, I find your videos to be very very humorous. Your comments when the Subbie sprayed you and also the other video when the car just stops on the middle of the road. Let's not forget the action when you honk the hell out of the Caddie lol. :driving:

Keep posting them! It makes me laugh! :hello:

kenchan 03-18-2011 04:34 PM

hey, atleast 370zlove finds humor like the rest of the normal folks.

I don't usually do anything because I have the only red Nismo in my town, and its easy for someone to spot it. My friend did pull an airsoft guy on some redneck when he cut in front of me and gave me the finger lol. Yeah.. he was way, way back from then on lol.

Is houkouonchi a guy because it looks like he has nail polish on this thumbnail. If houkouonchi is a female, she sure has man hands.

Having had a gun pointed out the window at me after giving someone the finger, I thoroughly agree.
Just as dangerous as a gun is the soccer mom with a cell phone. When she cries foul to the cops, who's he going to believe? (Hint: Not the dude in the fast car.)

I didn't read through this whole thread because I'm sure it contains enough material to warrant my response.
It's not about you. Chances are, the guy using their windshield washer actually needed to see. Unless, of course, you were riding his a** and he sprayed you to teach you a lesson, in which case, you deserved it.
Take a deep breath and repeat after me... It's not about me.
Once you get that through your head, you'll be one less person likely to be part of a road rage statistic.

The only type of road 'retaliation' I have ever done is spraying back when I got sprayed and flashing people with high-beams (which is pretty rare). I have maybe done what I did in the video on 3 other occurrences.

Rather than flash honk or do anything else it makes the most sense to me to do it back to them so if they are ignorant they will get the message that they are spraying **** on people driving behind them and will stop doing it. There is almost never a good excuse for doing it randomly like that as it probably could have been done *before* getting on the freeway or when someone is far enough behind you that it wont hit them (they have to be pretty far away).

I would honestly be surprised if it does not bother someone at all when this happens to them. Yes many will do nothing about it but at least I can say that person who I sprayed back certainly wasn't ignorant about what they did at least from that point on. Whether or not they keep doing it is anyone's guess.

I just hate it when people drive in a way that pays no attention to the consequences of other people on the road. Another example that was given is driving slowly in the fast lane (maybe these people would argue they are doing the speed limit? i duno?). Another one is people who are in the right most lane and stop at a stoplight and the lane has enough room for two cars but they stop in the middle of the lane so people can't turn right and have to wait through the light.

And of course there are the people that seem to have no idea that cleaning their windshield while driving at freeway speeds sprays a bunch of crap on the person that is behind them.

The idea that you can teach people a lesson, or that it is your responsibility to fulfill that role is retarded.
Get over it, and get over yourself.
Fix yourself before you invest so much energy in trying to fix other people.

While I agree with your point, that last sentence is pretty funny coming from a guy arguing over the internet about this:rofl2:

If I can save this guy from himself while preventing the senseless waste of washer fluid, my sacrifice is worthwhile.

I don't worry or even really notice when people spray while the car is moving. I only ever use it if I need to in order to see. Like when the roads are covered in salt and it gets all on my windshield. I don't think retaliating to something minor that happens on the road is really worth it. You never know how the other person will react. I was stopped at a light one night in a car with 4 of my friends (I wasn't driving). There was this guy right next to us and he just kept staring at us. This light seemed to take forever and were all having this weird stare down with him because he would not look away. As a joke, one of my friends pulled out his phone and took a picture of the guy with really bright flash from his camera (it was like 1-2 am). The guy was like blinded by the flash at first and then got out of his car. He opened the trunk and headed towards it. We didn't stay to find out what he had in there and just ran the red light.

Lesson learned. Some people are just crazy and you don't want to provoke them.

Like all the Virginia mid-a members. Steve's been known to go for his thong if someone provokes him.

By "provokes him" you mean "bends over in his line of sight."

I think just him seeing you usually does the trick. Especially if you're in a Z. Then you become irresistible to him :icon17:

Wait, what if the guy who sprayed his windshield really needed to clean his windshield... you know because he couldn't see? That's usually why people do that... not because they are bored and want to piss you off.

Maybe he was waiting for the guy in the blue sports car to go around him but he didn't... he was just tailgating him for the past 15 minutes. So he said... you know what.. **** IT.

And then you went nuts.

I'll try and give a bit of advice... let small **** like that go. If I saw you buzz around me and cut me off and spray **** at me because I was trying to clean my windshield off because I couldn't see... there would be a big problem.

iceman21_23 03-18-2011 11:24 PM

The guy in front of this person did not spray him. There is no way that the guy had to do it then and couldn't wait for an opportune time.

And how the **** am I tailgaiting him? The only reasaon I was that close is I was literally 10 seconds away from changing lanes anyway and was getting up to pass the van. I was following him way farther before and 4 carlengths behind someone isn't tailgating.

Really? I have anger issues because I just did the exact same thing back to the person? I actually think flipping the person off like some other people said would actually be a lot worse than I did.

Not everyone likes to lube up and assume the position or just turn the other cheek and let people **** on them and do nothing.

plato 03-19-2011 02:39 AM

So you hate it when people do it to you so you speed up and do it to them? Are you 7 years old sir?

This sums it up for me too. The amount of fuckery I see on this board reminds me of the 350Z.com

This really sucks when you are riding your motorcycle behind the person spraying their windshield. Unfortunately, this has happened to me on numerous occassions :shakes head:

So you would have a problem with someone doing back what you just did to them? I had to clear my windshield because the **** u just srayed back over to me so why not just send it back your way?

Also it amazes me how freaking ignorant people are. Turning in front of someone when you are going at a higher rate of speed than them != cutting them off.

I guess some people just seem to think that if someone goes in front of them and the distance between their two cars is any less than 3 car lengths than that person just cut them off even if you are able to keep your same rate of speed.
