top left corner is 370z's....the only ones not damaged..lol |

With an earthquake as powerful as the one they had, you can be sure all of the cars on that "lot" are damaged. Wether it be internally or externally, I'm sure all of those cards will be scrapped. |

^Yup, there look to be a couple dozen totaled Zs there. An earthquake will not damage a car, it is the water damage to the body and interior that will kill these 370zs.
|
^ those are all water damaged. looks like rays will be dirt cheap now.
|
well i dont see or cant see any blue roadsters...my car was to hit the line end of feb start of march...lol my car could be in that lot! ieee
|
meh nothing major, its only a Z..lol

Thought this thread is about sympathy for people that died in Japan, instead it's about if the car is damaged !!

Like my local weather guy said... it's funny how we were all worried about some rivers and streams flooding because of ice jams and then to see the damage done to Japan, really puts things into perspective. Just my :twocents: PS. If your 370z did get damaged and causes you a delay, I do feel bad. Plus, I'm not sure why you had to order one from Japan anyway... there are left over 370z everywhere. |
ahh, I wonder about the 12 GTR's .. I'm waiting for those to get here so I can get a 09 for 50k... Damn natural disasters.. ruining my life!!:shakes head::eekdance:

my car is a black edition which were supposed to be built this week... no idea if it was or not... one one hand i hope it wasnt and it wasnt sitting at port ..but on the other hand if it wasnt built... God knows when it will be now... so no real good outcome...unless it was built but still at the factory..... even then with the ports messed up i have no expectation of getting it in May now like i was supposed to |

Thats the attitude that got America in the situation that it's in. The only way out of it is a country act on a whole. Selfishness:shakes head::shakes head: |

No, what got America in the situation it is in is being too giving to the lowest common denominator on our own soil, as well as trying to play "World Cop". |

What other country in this world even has the opportunity to achieve both. Its not the opportunity, the ability, the obligation. Its the Will |
Ah.

You can bet the personal suffering the Japanese are experiencing is going to have global effects. Such a disaster over there. Obviously personal safety and security are going to come before business is restored, and businesses that support the local economy are going to come before exports.
I don't think we'll see much coming out of Japan for awhile. We'll see a lot going in (aid, rescue support, etc). |
i feel bad for the people of Japan, but when your spending your money the world revolves around you and no1 elts...60k in canada is not pennys.
my car was to be in end of april....bye bye...say hello to july |
Hey everyone check out my thread I started for a link to Red Cross. I feel this will help alot.

Having lived in California my whole life, I have known this sort of earthquake disaster is possible here too. They also get the bonus of tsunami. I have tremendous sympathy for the folks of Japan. The tsunami here was four feet of tidal changes over a few minutes. Interesting but not dangerous.
Nissan, Toyota, Honda, have all shut down production to assess damage. Since 370's are made in Japan, anyone thinking about buying one might consider pulling the trigger. |
It sucks what happened in japan, first and foremost to the people but also the economic impact it will have on there country(I.E. a part of that being all those new cars now totaled at the port) and the rest of the world as Japan trys to recover and get things going again.

Obviously my heart goes out to all in Japan. |
Not to push you away from getting a Cayman S but I bought my Z used in january. 5500miles, touring/spt model for 26,500. Why not consider getting a slightly used one that knocks off the new car price?
|
i looked for a new 2010 or slightly used 370z roadster auto in blue and could not find one...had to order...Nissan told me it would be the 1st blue roadster for 2011 and only the 2nd blue roadster in canada? not sure how true it is...
|

Im guessing not? Anyone else just order a z? |
i did in feb...it was to hit the line end of feb start of march...unsure of how long it takes to build? del was to be mid to end of april, the dealer told me to look for delay and is unsure of how long...i just done want a car that is messed up. summer only lasts till sept and the car will sleep for the winter, hope del wont be end of summer or no point in getting it this year!
