There are 2 features, AUTO LOCK and AUTO UNLOCK. To reverse the preference of either you follow the directions exactly, holding the lock button towards LOCK to reverse the Auto

To reverse the preference of either you follow the directions exactly, holding the lock button towards LOCK to reverse the Auto Lock preference or holding towards UNLOCK to change the Auto Unlock preference.
