That sucks, good luck, I hope its a short and smooth battle. In the meantime, you should enjoy the Z while you still have it. Find some nice twisty roads, or barren roads, and drive it like you stole it!

+1 for the short and smooth battle. As all should be. Sorry for the losses. Life gets better.

Now go bang someone else.

Sorry about your situation. If you need to downsize the hefty car payment I would probably step down to a older Subaru WRX (non STi). They can be found fairly cheap with reasonable miles, is a good 4 season vehicle and has room for your dogs. It is still a fun car to throw around, is easy to resell and has plenty of upgrade potential.

You mentioned a short while ago this divorce might be in your future. Now it's here. $600/month is too much so what do you think is affordable so we can better help with car suggestions.

that blows.

i'd dread going through what you are going through.

Good luck with everything.

There are a lot of guys here. Maybe you could get with one of them since they have a Z! ^^

Sorry for your troubles -- I have been there and have compassion for what you are going through.

Someone told me once that love is just grand, but divorce is a hundred grand (I know that's what my last one cost and then some).

Hang in there -- it gets better over time.

^but freedom is priceless :)

I feel your pain. I got laid off last year, then my wife divorced me. Lost my Z along with my house. Still getting back up on my feet. Thinking about getting the new STi now that I've landed a good job. Anyway, keep your chin up. You're not alone in this experience.

sorry to hear...but keep your head up!

how much are you looking to spend per month for the car? like tam i am said we might be able to give some options for you - or u can just go 350 and be done with it :)

SPOHN 02-28-2011 12:15 PM

Can you get a smaller apartment? That might help.

I'm betting you got the dogs and the Z after you got married .. a woman with dogs and a Z don't need no man! :roflpuke2:

I wouldn't wish what you are going through on anyone - I've had quite a few friends go through it recently and it's never pretty. Hang in there and rely on your good friends!

I'd vote for a well cared for, used Z as a replacement. :)
