I just got my Z so I drive it whenever I can! After about 2 months, I'll stop putting miles on her and use my 03 Corolla for daily use again.

my 370z was suppose to be a spare car in case my 94 honda accord dies. Of course, being a Honda even with 250K+ miles it's running strong. But ever since I bought the 370z, I've been trying to come up with excuses so I could drive it to work, weekend, everywhere. It's such a fun car to drive, plus it turns so many more heads than my piece of crap Accord, it's hard to not drive it whenever possible.

However, I am suffering the price I pay for gas. For the same mileage full tank ~300 miles, I pay over $60 for my Z even though u'd think it's a more fuel efficient car considering it's newer, and I only pay ~$40 for my Accord. =( Sad... either way, I should be thankful it's not a GT-R. I don't think I can afford that kind life. (Not to mention it's maintenance)

It's been only 2 months since I bought it, I'm still trying to get myself to drive the Accord more....it's not really happening...

Daily driver. Storeage is dicey. I will say it holds between one half and two thirds of my 1995 300zx tt, which held enough.

Re Mileage : stated 18 MPG seems to be below 4000 revs. More revs may put you down to 12 MPG, but it is worth it!

If I could make the numbers work I'd probably be in an Audi A5 right now, unfortunately. I love the Z, but with the 6MT it doesn't make a great daily driver in my current situation. If I lived out in the country I'd love it!

I think this is making its way into every thread :icon14:

I drive mine everyday. 100K's a day (60ish miles)

I have a garage and live 5 miles from work, which has security.

For this winter a co-worker has agreed to take me on snow days.

this car is a blast

Daily driver, I even plan to install Winter tires when necessary.

Hi-Step'n370Z 06-12-2010 04:52 AM

Daily driver in the Spring, Summer, Fall, but I store her over the Winter.

There are certain places I won't take the Z because of lousy "Sardine Can" parking.

LunaZ 06-12-2010 06:24 AM

Daily driver.
I have a 1989 Nissan 4WD pickup for Home Depot runs and snow days.

I wish the hatch was about 2-3" deeper at the back to make a suitcase an easier fit, but in all honesty, the only thing this car is supposed to be more practical than is my race-prepped supersport bike and that's okay.
