Well the salesguy was about 15 years younger then I was, nice guy but tried very hard to sell me a a 2009 with 5k miles on it as a NEW car for one. Wasted my time- on top of which he pushed a 29k price on it- after waiting a half hour for him to return to his desk. I chalked up his lack of sophistication with poor training. Its a shame b/c Im ready to buy and they are 5 miles away- I have heard good things about Koppel- but Joe over there has not been responding in the last few days. Ill call him when I return o NY-

Price on a 2011 touring with nav? Thoughts anyone ? I expect to be sub 35k

comments appreciated

Imho you are being unrealistic. That nav package takes you out of that range by at least 3k. Persimmon interiors are not popular and many dealerships order those on request. Once they have you ordering your car. Negotiations get tight. Also once you are talking touring sport nav. You are fully loaded. They give great deals on many non nav cars and now you are expecting them to give you sub 35k on there only true bread and butter feature on the Z. Even at clearance you will be lookin at $36.5 at minimum. You are talking about a car that is almost 42k. If you don't think the Z is worth more than 35k loaded you might as well look somewhere else. The genesis coupe comes with everything you want at 34k. You can get them as low as 29k if you got game??? That might be a better option for you???

What about pricing in Canada? More specifically, Toronto, what did you guys manage to bargain to?

Actually, the car I described is not the sport touring it is just the Touring / Nav
the invoice on the 2011 version of this car is 36,436 (that includes floor mats, trunk mat) So below $35k is reasonable in my mind.

Who did you use at your dealer?

My bad. I thought you wanted sport pkg. Let's see. A touring MSRP is about$35350; auto is about 1400 and nav is around 1900: that comes to about 38,700ish without accessories like illum plates splash guards and mats and minus aero pkg. 40k with all accessories.
You are asking about $1000 below invoice. I would try right now before march hits. Once car selling season starts it will be hard to get anything under incoice.

One thing, try to locate that car first. If they have to order it from factory or ship it from out of state, negotiations will be a lot harder.

I re edited this to add a configurator of what you want for exact numbers. I was off invoice by 1k too little. The invoice was around 36;500 which leaves you $1500 under invoice at 35k. I also tried to find your exact car on a national search. Couldn't find one to your exact specs. Maybe you will have better luck searching. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Your input is appreciated, thanks. How are you able to do a national search on your own?

Thanks
