G37 brotha!!

The G37 rings more of a sport luxury coupe, especially considering Infiniti is the luxury brand... I guess "sporty" goes a long way in defining a car.

Does anyone who has driven an Altima think its really a competitor to the Z?? I love the Altima...for my wife ..whenever she does the shopping or brings the grand kids to school.. its nice and smooth..with a pleasant back seat...very practical.. It never bothers anyone ...nor does it give anyone a roller-coaster like thrill-ride like at the amusement park.. its more like the paddle boats .. . it has everything.. except of course BALLS!!, So if the Altima is a winner here, obviously this is not the right category for the Z to be competing..

Not at all. There is no competition. I guess the Altima coupe 3.5 would be Nissan's sporty alternative to those who want a Z, but need 4 seats. Other than that, they are completely different. I have driven both.

I heard from a reliable source that it's also exclusive. Apparently Nissan only sells them to rap stars these days. Get out there and make those Veyron drivers jealous! :driving:

Nissan hand delivers you an invitation to buy a Z. It's like waiting in line on Black Friday, except Nissan comes straight to your door. ;)

Sporty coupe = coupe with 4 seats

sports car = 2 seater

is the 3.5 motor that is in the altima the same one that was in the 350z.
if so that would make it kind of bad xss

I believe its a less tuned version of the VQ35DE that was in the 03-06 350Z. It has less power in a heavier car, so its not actually that awesome.

from the list of cars, the mustang must be the fastest and the fiat the slowest :)

In a straight line I'd put my money on the Challenger SRT.

i am pretty sure the mustang 5.0 would out accelerate the srt8 because i've seen so many videos on youtube where it had done so.

however you are right about the top speed. according to the info i found on the web, the 5.0's top speed is 147 mph and the srt8's top speed is 180 mph.

I think the new SRT8 392 could be faster in a straight line. I've seen some low-mid 12s thrown around for that car. Pretty crazy considering it weighs 4200lbs! :eek:
