Sterling Gray FTW. That's pretty cool that your bro & sis both have 370s. :icon17:

Steve, come on! The car is Gray. There is no need to fancy it up with "Sterling". You would never catch Nissan making up fancy names for basic colors like silver or gray. :shakes head:

... but my silver is Brilliant Silver, not just a regular silver...

Isn't Brilliant Silver a metallic paint?

I wouldn't mind driving a 5.0 around, but I just love my 370z too much to make the trade. If you look at your car as just another vehicle, then do the trade. I see my 370z as a superbly rare well made sports car.

Couldn't agree more.....

I must add American cars suck.
Leave the 5.0 to mr. Vanilla ice

The Mustang is a major step down in quality of engineering, driver engagement, and exclusivity. But some people don't care about that, and some people love Mustangs. If cars were a rational choice, we'd all be driving KIAs. Buy what you want, and who cares what anyone else thinks.

I never refer to my car as gray, only Platinum Graphite! :icon17:

My car isn't "snot bubble brown", it's black cherry! :roflpuke2:

You should totally trade your 370Z for the new Mustang. Then you can go on the Mustang forums and make threads titled, "hey guys, I just got a new Mustang but I'm thinking about trading it for some [insert new car here], what do you guys think?"

Additionally, the $40/month savings would be tremendous. You could now afford to send your kids to college.

Exclusivity? Rarity compared to the Mustang, yes, but exclusivity? It takes a lot of nerve to say the 370 is an "exclusive" car with a straight face.

I take it you've already received your invitation for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance! :bowrofl:

I won't even bother with the rest. I'll just let you get back to enjoying your exclusive automobile! I don't make enough money to spend $30k on such an exclusive car... I can only dream.

I see a lot of Beemers around, and I'm pretty sure many of those people bought the car for the status thing. I see a fair number of Mustangs around, and fewer GT/5.0's. I pretty sure they did NOT buy the car because the neighbors had one. I think they bought them because they are car people, and like the sensation of their heads snapping back when they hit the gas.

OK, back to the fancy names for gray paint debate! :-)

We should just use the HTML color codes.

Hey everyone, I just bought a new #4E4848 Metallic 370!

"Help me choose: #0000A0 or #FFFFFF?"

ProfessorDave 02-24-2011 06:54 PM

Dark Blue would look smashing on a 5.0! Not the #FFFFFF
