Angry Only HUGE Annoyance..

I absolutely love this car, but is there anyway, in any shape or form, you can adjust how the window goes down/up when you open the door? I understand it's probably to prevent the glass from hitting too hard or something but it's raining it's *** off right now and there's water getting in my car. I put it all the way up before I get out, open it, and it's still cracked enough for rain to drip down. It's ridiculous, I shouldn't have to worry about that ****.

Someone please tell me there's a way to fix SOMETHING.

Yeah, someone didn't reset your windows and it's staying in the 'lowered' position. Or your door sensor is shot.

i don't have that issue when it rains

try a window reset first...

basically hold the window switch down for like 10 seconds (not entirely sure)
and then hold the switch up for a few seconds...

if that doesnt work then it's time to see the dealer because you have some warranty work to get done

1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.

2. Close the door.

3. Open the window completely by operating
the power window switch.

4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to
close the window, and then hold the switch
more than 3 seconds after the window is
closed completely.

5. Release the power window switch. Operate
the window by the automatic function to
confirm the initialization is complete.

Just turn the car on and shut the door. Lower the window all the way. Then raise it all the way but still hold the button for three more seconds afterwards. Should reset. Same for the passenger side. But you must do from the passenger side. I just did the other day. If that's not it then there maybe another issue.

Jesus Christ, thank God. I was going to say, there's no way Nissan designed it that way. It worked. Thank you, you guys.

gotta love the forum i had a day at work were my window just kept ratcheting down. figured out it takes a little over twenty times to lower it all the way
OP as a side note did you know that if your keys are in your pocket and you sit in a chair the wrong way and hold down the unlock button by accident you will roll your windows down in a thunderstorm/thieve plagued parking lot and all your stuff will be soaked and gone?

I usually keep them around my neck, as I have them on a lanyard, but I'm glad you said that because now I also know on warm days I'll just hold unlock down (:

Christ. I thought the window going down like that was normal (odd) operation for the car. I can't wait to get the window reset.

Forum FTW!
