Well, it's almost: CTS is to Corvette as G37 is to Z.

It's in the same class as M3/M5.

It's a luxury coupe more than a corner carver. The vette would beat one around just about any track.

I've always said that a Cadillac is just a Chevy with more chrome and leather bits and that there was no need for GMC, Pontiac, Buick or Oldsmobile. Just two brands, one common market, one high-end, like Toyota and Lexus. They almost listened to me.

I know Corvette owners and drivers on both ends of the spectrum. Douchey mid-lifers who need a shiny penis extension and SCCA hotshoes who can make magic with the car. Same could be said for Z owners.

The vette weighs in at about 3300 lbs. The Caddy is about 4000 lbs.
