The Z is pure sex! It is hot, loud, and rough!

I haven't had the chance to look at a Nismo at the dealership. I was at a Nissan dealership around here earlier and the sales rep said I'd have to special order it and the 2011 Nismo would cost me $50k plus some... :roflpuke2: I then left lol. I really don't need navigation and leather to come with the car initially. Only because I plan to remove the seats for aftermarket buckets and probably replace the headunit with something else w/ nav. |

The nismo will sell for about 6-7k more than a base + sport. That is a great deal if you ask me. I love the looks of the nismo and I love the rims. That is the main reasons why I chose it over a base + sport. I was just never a fan of the fang look. Don't get me wrong, I still love the base 370z just not the front bumper. |
IMHO the Z looks quite a bit better than the EVO. The AWD is nice but my biggest reason to go to the Z (If I was not a fan of the Z's already) is because one is N/A vs a turbo. I don't plan on modding the car and am fine with stock so I didn't really wanna get a FI car that requires more maintenance and has more things that can fail/cause problems.

Yeah, I don't think he knew what he was talking about. He couldn't really give me straight answers on anything I asked him about the car and kept trying to push a base 2010 on me. I like the looks of the Nismo all around. If I got a sport or base I'd most likely change the wheels but I love the Nismo ones so that will save me some money in the long run.

I'm not making the choices of buying between different cars, and you've probably grown up around sports cars as well (seeing as you're looking at the different cars you want), so I'll put in my two cents.
I've driven a heavily modified bugeye WRX and it is too much fun. All that grip and boost is just a wonderful experience. I've also driven an outback sport, which is, for the most part, a family sport sedan/wagon/hatch -thing (sorry lol) but it's a fun car. I've also been in a 94 Impreza L with a funky-@ss EJ20E swap and a no-name turbo (at least that's what my buddy and I think) and that's also a lot of fun. I've been in a GSR and actually been enticed to race by one (some 16 year old in his dad's car, probably) and spanked him. Bad judgment on my part but there's just something about reaching 60-70 seconds before he does. I've read about the EVO's "DSG" or whatever revolutionary tranny they have in there and apparently it's many wonderful things inside a metal box. I've been in a Z4, fun, but many people say it's overpriced, not to mention the maintenance cost of German cars. I haven't driven it though so I have no basis for performance there. And of course, I've been in a TON of Civics. Fortunately, none that are too riced out. My most recent experience was inside a race-shop's EK body that was modded to hell and slammed to the ground. Feels fast, although it really isn't that fast. I would never get a Civic, purely because the place I live is just filled with every example imaginable when it comes to all-show-and-no-go Civics. They're not even show. They're just ugly. An S2000? I'm too big for it. Lastly, I am a Z driver. I will probably stay a Z driver. It is, in every sense of the word, an enthusiast's car. It has all the amenities to be a daily driver and all the kick to be a track star (albeit with cooling issues). Besides its 30+ year pedigree, Nissan has done a lot to attract the sporty-minded buyer. TL;DR Buy the 370Z. Nismo or whatever. You will love it. |

rip on me if you guys wish but Evo looks like garbage IMO. 370z on the other hand, actually looks like a genuine sexy sports car. I may sound bias but I think most people will agree on this one. Also Evo will never match upto 370z in handling. When your in Evo, it feels like your in a leather seated honda civic that has a turbo, stiff coilovers, and feels like going over millions of pebbles of rock. Not a smooth ride. Did i mention interior of evo look like a half eaten burrito by a dog?

The Z has better looking exterior AND interior. The Z also uses a bit less gas. I went with the Z even though the Evo is more practical/AWD, and I don't really regret the decision!
