i remember the last time i brought my car in for an oil change. the service advisor looked at the mileage indicator and said "the last oil change was less than 1k miles ago" :D

why would you change it after only 1k?

the owner's manual suggests that the oil be replaced every 3 months but i drive so little that i decided to replace the oil every 6 months. i don't think i should double it and replace the oil once a year.

I already have 600 miles on mine since Dec. 27, 2011 and only drove it a handful of times. My mileage gauge must not be calibrated?

It's reads a little high (about 3-7%, like most cars) but should be accurate. You'd have great grounds for a lawsuit if it wasn't.

Man you roll that mug don't ya, this is not a collectors item I'm with ya...hehe. I have 19,600 on mine in 19 months and I split time betweeen it and the Max.

I got mine back in July, and I'm sitting at 6,820 miles. I'm surprised that I put over 6k on it because it doesn't seem like I drive it that much other than to turn corners, trips to Houston or Louisiana are out of the question. I need to get the 944 going again and ride it until the wheels come off.

just cracked 1,000 miles today...
about 7 weeks of ownership so far.

I bought my Z this past October and I just hit 8000 miles. I'm doing a lot of driving. :)

onzedge 02-12-2011 10:46 PM

I have had mine 10 months, 4 days and have 14,235 miles. I gave up worrying about miles and just drive. F*** it, it is the best of my vehicles and I just have to drive it.
